Here we have the very special & rare '88 Bentley Mulsanne S in a desirable colour combination. The current owner purchased the car from the Bentley Dealership in 2015. Clean CarFax attached. The Mulsanne is a luxury saloon that was produced from 1980-1992. The name of the car then changed to derivatives like Continental & Azure to name a couple, before coming back in 2010 with the modern version. The name Mulsanne came from Bentley's Motorsport history from the 24 hour Le Mans races. The Mulsanne S was introduced in 1987 & produced until 1992. It did not have the Turbo but it shared everything else with the Mulsanne Turbo including the alloy wheels, interior trims & the firm suspension for a sporty yet extremely comfortable ride. It shared the same 6.75L V8 that was used in the Rolls-Royce's at the time & Bosch fuel injection was introduced in all models in 1986. It was based off of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow & then became the basis for all Bentley models until 1998.
