Due to the success in Japan & the demand in other markets it was lately manufactured for those markets as a RHD & LHD. The styling was inspired by the Nissan Figaro & Audi TT Roadster. It was originally designed with a 660cc turbo inline-4 engine in its 1st-generation in order to meet Japanese Kei car regulations. The 1st-generation Copen was produced for 10 years from 2002-2012 before the 2nd-generation came about. This Copen was imported from Japan by the seller in September 2023 when it had 39,150 miles / 63,000 km on it, adding 620 miles / 1,000 km since.
