Here we have a 1954 Ford Customline Fordor. The Customline was sold from 1952 to 1956 by Ford in North America spanning 2 generations. The 1st generation lasting 3 years until 1954 where this example falls under. It is a mid-range model positioned below the Ford Crestline & above the Ford Mainline. Throughout the 3 years there were only minor changes.
This example was reportedly serviced in anticipation of the sale; this included new brakes & fluids. Other than a repaint, the vehicle is said to be an all original example. The Turquoise exterior is properly complimented by the cream roof, factory chrome trim, rear fender skirts & factory steel wheels. The top-end V8 engine & Ford-O-Matic transmission reportedly perform as expected, providing more than enough power to move this beautiful classic sedan around the town. This classic sedan would be excellent to drive up to the local car show in.
It is powered by a 239cid 3.9L V8 engine with a 2 barrel carburetor spinning the rear wheels through a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. It now shows 29,765 miles / 47,902 km on the odometer; TMU Total mileage unknown.
