Extra options

Here we have a beautiful E46 2005 BMW M3 Coupe Competition Package (ZCP) paired with the all-important 6-speed manual transmission. The M3 is a high-performance version of the regular 3-series. It was developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division: BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for all 3-series generations since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The E46 3rd generation was produced from 2000-2006. Compared to a regular E46 3-series, the M3 features unique bumpers & side skirts, wider wheel arches, front fender vents, a “power dome” hood, rounded exterior mirrors, trunk lid spoiler & a quad-tip exhaust. In 2005, a special edition was introduced which used several parts from the CSL. This model was called the M3 Competition Package (ZCP), which is what we have here. These rare Competition Packages (ZCP) add larger front brake discs, rear brake calipers with larger pistons, M-track mode for the electronic stability control, faster ratio steering rack of 14.5:1, stiffer springs, Alcantara steering wheels and handbrake, & 19" BBS style ZCP wheels. This example is reportedly also fitted with an authentic Dinan muffler & "S" package Dinan upgrade which ups the power levels to plus 24 HP & 17 Lb-Ft of Torque to the stock figures. This E46 M3 Competition is a US-spec example that was sold new in the state of New York in August 2005. It was imported to Quebec, Canada in 2006 & has remained registered in the province since. An accident to the passenger side quarter panel (rear right corner) occurred in October 2005 from hitting a dear which resulted in this M3 Competition receiving a rebuilt status. The incident occurred when the vehicle had less than 12,000 km & it has driven almost 90,000 km since. During the incident the passenger side rear wheel received some damage which resulted in the owner replacing it with the proper OEM wheel; at the same time the other 3 were reportedly refinished. It is powered by a 3.2L inline 6-cylinder naturally aspirated S54B32 engine spinning the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual & limited-slip differential. The engine features variable valve-timing technology (VANOS) & it has independent throttle bodies for each cylinder. It now shows 63,313 miles / 101,891 km on the odometer. This M3 is directly importable as it is a US-spec example having been sold new in the state of Washington. - 6-speed manual transmission & a limited-slip differential - Interlagos Blue Metallic over black Nappa leather & Alu-Tec aluminum trim - Power everything - Sunroof - Cruise control - Automatic climate control - Heated front sport seats - Infotainment system screen - BMW Business CD stereo - Harman Kardon sound system - Illuminated leather shift-knob - 3-spoke alcantara steering wheel with M-color stitching - Alcantara handbrake - M-specific shift knob & footrest - M-specific gauges - Xenon headlights - Fog lights - LED taillights - Tinted windows - Shadow-line trim - Rain-sensing windshield wipers - Trunk lip spoiler - Quad exhaust outlet DINAN muffler - 19” M double-spoke competition alloy wheels - Front: 225/40 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires - Rear: 255/35 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires - Power: 357 HP & 288 Lb-Ft of Torque - Curb Weight: 3461 lbs
