In 2007 came the more powerful XKR supercharged variant which had the limited stop speed increased to 280 km/h. The rotary gear selector mated to the new ZF automatic transmission was also introduced as part of this facelift. In 2011 it received a 2nd more minor facelift with a new front bumper & light design.
