The show follows 4 Allied soldiers – 3 Americans & 1 British – who are part of a long-range desert patrol group in the North African campaign during World War II. Their mission: "to attack, harass and wreak havoc on Field Marshal Rommel's vaunted Afrika Korps". In the show these soldiers are driving 2, 50 Browning AN/M2-equipped Jeeps. This 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ "Rat Patrol" was built by the previous owner, an engineer, over the course of 5+ years. It is considered to be a 1 of 1 anywhere, as there are no other known examples built to resemble the the one in the show so perfectly. It is 100% street legal, insured & registered in the sellers name. This Jeep features the .50 Caliber turret gun, shovel, army seats, axe, jerry cans, rope & more to resemble the Jeep from the show. It also has a working sound mechanism. It is said to have no rust, the finish on the Jeep is intentional & is entirely steel. The seller acquired this Jeep from the builder 5 months ago & has driven it just a few miles as the weather started to drop. It is said to turn heads everywhere it goes & drives wonderfully with no issues. The Wrangler YJ is the 1st generation of 4-wheel-drive small off-road Wranglers.
