Extra options

Here we have a very well kept 1967 Dodge Dart GT. This Dart GT has reportedly been completely gone through & is ready to take on a nice summer ahead. It was acquired by the seller in August of 2023 from the reported 2nd-owner. The story with this Dart GT is that it remained with its original owner for roughly 50 years until his passing, at this point his neighbour acquired it from the family. The 2nd-owner then reportedly got to work on it by pulling the engine & entirely refreshing it among other work. It was given a new driveline, seals, brakes & more. Not too long after the work this 2nd-owner had to sell the car due to personal reasons & this is where our current seller comes into the picture of this excellent Dart GT. The interior reportedly has never been re-upholstered or touched in any way, showing the care this car received as mainly a 1-owner example. Due to the condition of the interior, the seller believes the odometer may not have even rolled over, potentially being the original mileage; however, there is no past documentation to confirm this. The car was reportedly repainted last in 1981 & still shows to be in excellent condition. Other than a reported small bubble at the corner of the hood, there are no other aesthetic flaws. The large majority of GT's came off the assembly line with the 278ci V8, while very little came with this 225ci, making this smaller engine example a bit more rare to come by. This A-Body Dart was produced by Dodge from 1959 to 1976 spanning 4 different generations. This 1967 marks the 1st year of the final 4th generation. For this final generation, the car was substantially redesigned with new styling, revised steering systems, a wider front track & frame spacing and redesigned K-members capable of finally accepting larger engines. The 3-speed auto in this Dart GT was the successor to the old 2-speed powerflite. It is powered by a 3.7L 225ci slant-6 1-barrel carburetor, which was part of the RG block family. It spins the rear wheels through a 3-speed torqueflite automatic transmission. The car now shows 45,979 miles / 73,996 km on the 5-digit odometer; TMU total mileage unknown. - 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission - Black Cherry over 2-tone black & white interior - AM Radio - 3-spoke black & chrome steering wheel - Swivel windows - Dart GT emblem's - Grille-mounted front turn signals - Fender-mounted antennae - Chrome bumpers Decoding the trim tag reveals the following production information: - A6: Console - B4: Bucket seats - H7: Fender or Hood Mounted Turn Signal Indicators - J4: Moulding - Body Sill Narrow - W6: Build to Spec's for Canada - R1: AM Radio - AX 2: 2.94 Rear Axle Ratio - TRM P6W: Premium Trim Grade, Vinyl Bucket Seats.
