Here we have a 1975 MG MGB Roadster showing original patina. The MGB is a 2-door sports car manufactured & marketed from 1962-1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC). The MGB model was one of the 1st cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver & passenger in collisions. In 1974 to meet new regulations it received a new steel-reinforced black rubber bumper at the front which restyled the car, while a matching rear bumper completed the change.
This MGB shows natural patina & the seller reportedly had the engine rebuilt in 2020. At the same time the brakes were said to be serviced. The car is all original other than a Panasonic head unit. It features 14" Rostyle wheels wearing MG center caps, Power-assisted front discs & rear drums, chrome side strips & more.
It is powered by a 1.8L inline-4 engine fed by a single carburetor spinning the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. It shows 7,316 miles / 11,775 km on the 5-digit odometer; total mileage unknown (TMU).
