🎥 WATCH: Here we have a video of the vehicle (copy/paste): https://youtu.be/Dx7_rOdDV-E
Here we have an entirely restored extremely rare in Canada 1979 Citroën Méhari. It is a lightweight recreational & utility vehicle manufactured by the French automaker. It was built for 20 years from May of 1968 to 1988. It has a fully independent suspension & chassis shared with the 2CV as well as the 602cc Flat-Twin shared with the Dyane & Ami models. A fun fact with the Méhari is it gets its name from the fast-running Dromedary Camel.
The Méhari was only sold in the United States for 2 model years 1969 & 1970. A very rare US Model was featured by Elvis Presley in his 1973 broadcast Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite. Due to its mechanical simplicity the Méhari can easily be restored to "as new" condition. All the parts including the chassis are easily available which allows for a thriving restoration market. This is an example of a Méhari that benefitted from this. With the two-tone paint & interior, this is no regular Méhari but a very unique & unmatched example.
The Méhari features removable doors & a foldable, stowable fabric convertible top. This Méhari has a newly reupholstered interior in white & navy blue leather. A trunk is also in play.
