Here we have a 1982 Piaggio Ape Vespacar p501. It is a 3-wheeled light commercial vehicle/bike that is manufactured & marketed by Piaggio as an adaptation to the famous Vespa scooter. It was introduced in 1948 & is still produced today in numerous body configurations which allow is to serve a wide range of functions. It is well known as a little workhorse that "costs a little & gives a lot". This example was imported from Italy & spent some time in Toronto, Ontario before the seller acquired it in late 2021. It was reportedly restored under previous ownership. The original paint was said to be light blue before it was repainted in its current maroon colour. It is said to start-up, run & drive but will require a tune-up. All the parts for the tune-up have been acquired by the seller & will be included in the sale. It is powered by a rear-mounted 189cc air-cooled single, 2-stroke. It spins the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.
