Here we have the newest 1972 Ford Bronco around. A beautifully restored example that had everything replaced around the rebuilt original driveline. The seller acquired this Bronco in 2007 from a family member & has added roughly 20,000 miles / 32,187 km to the odometer since. The family member acquired the car in 2005 in Manitoba. The seller started the restoration in March of 2021 & completed it in June of 2023. All of the work was done by the seller from A-Z. The owner has completed many restorations over the years but notes that this Bronco has been the most detailed & thought-out restoration of all. Absolutely everything is reportedly brand new or rebuilt with this Bronco; the seller is able to tell you the length of each bolt used.
This Bronco & all its features are in reported perfect working condition. This includes & is not limited to the dual tanks, gauges, fuel systems, brand new brake system & booster, American Autowire wiring system, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, all the hardware & more. The interior is all new including the headliner, door panels, carpets, seats & more. The console is custom built with cherry wood inserts that complements the door panels as well. The seller did add some modifications such as power steering & power brakes in order to make it a less harsh drive. The wiring harness was upgraded to an American Autowire system. The column shift was replaced with a hurst floor conversion kit.
The Bronco is the 1st SUV model developed by Ford. 5 generations of the Bronco were sold from the 1966 to 1996 model years before the modern 6th generation was introduced for the 2021 model year. The 1st generation Bronco was introduced for the 1966 model year offered as a 4WD compact SUV. Production of the 1st gen. Bronco lasted until 1977 when it was replaced by the 2nd generation Bronco.
This Bronco is powered by the 302ci 5.0L V8 2-Barrel spinning all 4 wheels through a Hurst conversion 3-speed manual transmission. It was assembled in December 1971 in Michigan, USA. It now shows 94769 miles / 152,516 km on the odometer; TMU (Total Mileage Unknown). The seller reportedly added 220 miles / 354 km since the completion of the rebuild. This Bronco carries an active Manitoba safety as it was recently certified & is valid until July 2024.
