Here we have a rare 1991 Nissan Figaro available. Just over 20,000 of these were built. Never sold in North America. They were supposed to be in production only for the 1991 year but due to high demand they produced a bit more in 1992, however almost all of the Figaro's are from the 1991 production year. It was manufactured by a special operations group at Nissan in Japan called the "Pike Factory".
It is a 2 door, 2+2 seater with a retractable fabric center section with a heated glass rear window that folds into the rear compartment. This is what they call a "fixed profile convertible" due to the fixed pillars. It is a retro styled car. Featuring a transverse-mounted 987cc MA10ET inline-4 that was turbocharged from the factory.
It was also featured on an episode of Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" on Netflix.
