Here we have a Euro 1982 Ferrari Mondial 8 finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa over tan. The F108 Mondial is a mid-engined, V8, grand tourer built & marketed by Ferrari from 1980 to 1993. It was styled by Pininfarina & the bodywork by Carrozzeria Scaglietti. During these 13 years of production there were 4 different iterations of the Mondial being the 8, QV, 3.2 & T. They were all produced in both coupé & convertible form except this 8 we have here, which was only built as a coupé. This example here is 1 of just 703 Mondial 8's ever produced from 1980-1982. This 2+2 coupé has a slightly higher roofline, greater dimensions & increased weight to accommodate rear seating for children or adults. The Mondial replaced the Ferrari 308/208 GT4 coupé & remains the last V8, rear mid-engined, 2+2 Ferrari. The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa with black lower bodywork & bumper covers. This Mondial 8 was reportedly sold new in Switzerland making it a European market example. In 2009 the Swiss owner moved to Quebec & brought this beautiful machine with him. In 2019 when the vehicle had roughly 82,000 km on the odometer, the previous owner sold it to our seller. In late 2023 the seller completed an engine out service on this Mondial & has driven the vehicle roughly 500 km since. All is said to be in working order. This is an interesting unit to add to a garage as it is a rare coupé with a gated manual, 2+2 seating, iconic colour combination & virtually no modifications with a recent engine out.
