Here we have the unique Prowler that turns heads everywhere it goes. This is a final production year example from 2002 that is for sale by the original owner. Yes, a 1 owner example! The Prowler was based on a Chip Foose (An American automobile designer) concept that was drawn while he studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. It is powered by an aluminum-block 3.5L V6 that drives the rear wheels through a torque tube & a rear-mounted 4-speed autostick automatic transaxle.
Launched in 1997, the Plymouth Prowler channeled the spirit of classic hot rods in a one-of-a-kind modern style. It was sold as a Plymouth for the 1997, 1999 & 2000 model years before it became a Chrysler after the Plymouth brand was discontinued in 2001. 11,702 units were assembled largely by hand at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, including 3,170 Chrysler-badged models. Production ended in 2002 & the Prowler was not replaced.
