Extra options

Here we have a rare C126 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC Koenig-Specials Supercharged example. This supercharged 80's icon was upgraded with the Koenig-Specials power unit treatment. Under the hood it was fitted with an Albrex supercharger & a new exhaust manifold, with the ECU tuned to match. The suspension was lowered, however it is unknown to the seller if the lowering kit is the Koenig-Specials front & rear 45mm lowering kit. This is a rare Koenig-Specials upgraded Mercedes-Benz 560SEC, it’s engine is significantly modified by one of the most influential German tuning houses of all time & it is said to now produce 400 BHP thanks to its bolt-on supercharger. The Koenig Specials tuning company was founded by successful racing driver & entrepreneur Willy König in Munich in 1977. Koenig Specials became icons in the 1980's & 1990's. The company was one of the world’s first "wild" tuning houses best remembered today for their 986 BHP Koenig Competition Evolution; which is a twin-turbo Ferrari Testarossa. This Testarossa build angered Enzo Ferrari so much that he ordered (with the threat of litigation) that all Ferrari badging be removed from the car. When it comes to the 560SEC, the large & under-stressed V8 under the hood made the car an ideal target for tuning companies. The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC was the German automakers top-of-the-line luxury coupe from 1985 until 1991. Wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, gear selector & door panels. The audio unit was upgraded to the full Alpine treatment including several subwoofers, a separate stabilizer & extra speakers. It is equipped with an integrated telephone & a vintage Alpine electronic graphic equalizer in the overhead driver mirror. The seller reportedly acquired the car from a local dealership in November of 2023 & has added roughly 100 km since. The vehicle is reportedly part of a large collection wishing to downsize. It was certified in late November 2023 & all accessories are said to be in working order. The seller notes that the vehicle does need a Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor replaced; the part was reportedly ordered & will be taken care of for the buyer with the invoice. This 560SEC is powered by an Albrex Supercharged 5.5L M117 V8 all-alloy Mercedes-Benz unit spinning the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission & a limited-slip differential. A fresh CarFax is attached. A PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) report from the end of November 2023 is located in the "EXTRA" gallery. - 4-speed automatic transmission - Black (O4OU) over Anthracite leather (271) - Power everything - Sunroof - Cruise control - Central locking - Automatic climate control - Heated front seats with memory - Integrated telephone unit - Driver-side mirror-integrated electronic graphic equalizer - Alpine audio - Theft deterrent system - Headlight washers - 18" AMG-Style Monoblock wheels - 245/40 ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires - Power: ~400 BHP & 369 Lb-Ft of Torque - Curb Weight: ~ 3880 lbs
