Here we have a 1993 Saab 9000 CS (combi sedan) that was in part designed by the famous Italian Giugiaro. It was the brand's first Executive Car which was purposed to compete with the dominating German sedans. This example touts the desirable 5-speed manual & naturally aspirated engine. Being a CS model, it features the practical liftback body. This 9000 CS was a Florida car for the first 8 years spending its days in Boca Raton, West Palm Beach & the Hollywood areas. The cluster is in miles, showing 161,000 / 259,000 km. It was previously owned by a mechanic.
The Saab 9000 is an executive automobile produced by the Swedish company from 1984-1998. Saab designed the 9000 as part of the Type 4 platform in partnership with the Italian automaker Fiat Automobiles. The 9000's body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro & Saab designer Björn Envall. This 9000 CS replaced the CC. Differences are a lowered front fascia with new headlights, new grille, some minor changes with the doors & a heavily redesigned rear-end.
It is powered by the 2.3L 2290cc B234i inline-4 engine featuring direct ignition spinning the front wheels through a 5-speed F25 manual transmission.
