Here we have what many call a "Bonkers Little Toy"; The Lotus 7 replica / Caterham by Deman SR7 Turbo.
It is a kit Lotus 7 made custom by Deman with a wide chassis. It features a 2.0L Turbo Nissan Sr20 motor & a 5-speed manual transmission. This car is no joke as it has legitimate supercar performance. With the wheels still spinning it can keep up with most supercars. There are currently said to be only 3 examples in all of Canada. It is street legal & currently registered in Alberta; originally from Ontario. It is said to be a 3-owner example, the current owner purchased it July 2021 & ~1,200 km have been put on it since. It is said to have never been in any accidents.
Originally these engines produce 213HP however this one features an adjustable wastegate boost component & a cold air intake which bumps the power output to 300HP. The engine is more specifically a Nissan JDM imported SR20DET S13 with a custom designed aluminum intercooler by Gerhard Bell whom worked with Ferrari/Gilles Villeneuve on their early 1980's turbos. The chassis components are all powder coated. It has a custom aluminum tube & silicon hose intake manifold system. Also features a custom built 3" polished stainless steel exhaust. It has a side mounted oil cooler, hand-made aluminum side wheel surrounds front & rear, Aluminum Mishimoto radiator, braided stainless steel brakes, hydraulic clutch lines & custom made springs.
It features a very rare long & wide chassis, easily accessible for taller drivers.
It is possible to add heating to the car, it has heater hoses at the rear of the engine and a heater core could be added. Only the best oil's should be used for this car; Royal Purple or Mobil 1.
The car was appraised in July 2021 at a value of $xx,xxx & is insured at this value. It was approved with zero rust or damage of any kind as well as being in overall excellent condition. It was signed off and approved as a #2 level "Very Good" condition. To be in the #1 segment it would have to be a perfectly kept restored example that was barely ever driven & left completely unmodified. Unrealistic for a car of this kind. At #2 it is an "Extremely presentable car" with no flaws, needs no work of any kind and is beautiful to look at. The crack in the windshield happened after the appraisal and is the only flaw on the vehicle. The appraisal as well as an excel sheet for every dollar put into this car is available upon request & an offer. It will also come with an Owner's Guide for everything needed to know about it in all aspects.
