Here we have the awesome Japanese spec, right-hand-drive Honda Beat. Known as a mid-engined Kei Roadster imported from Japan. The Beat was the last car to be approved by Soichiro Honda before he died in August of 1991. It is a super fun car to drive & enjoy in summers. A lot of the kei car models were hatchbacks, but not the Beat which is a small sports car. The Beat offers a pure driving experience & was styled by Pininfarina. The E07A Inline-3 does not offer the most horsepower & torque but it only weighs in at under 1700 lbs. The engine is naturally-aspirated & features an MTREC (Multi-Throttle Responsive Engine Control) system with individual throttle bodies for all three cylinders. This example is said to be a 3-owner example. The seller purchased it in 2015 from the 2nd owner who imported it into Canada. It was originally Blade Silver; however the seller was not happy with the condition of the paint. In 2018 the seller had it fully repainted to the B17 Nissan Blue we all know. At the same time all small imperfections were taken care of such as minor dents; all fixed. It was fitted with a custom mini bluetooth stereo that fits right & blends well into the center console. The factory radio was not included. The engine runs great & is said to be very healthy.
