Here we have a very rare Long-Wheel-Base Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. The Silver Shadow was the saloon (sedan) version of the iconic Corniche & Drophead coupe. This car has a large road presence with a lot of character. The clean wrap modernizes it a bit. The long-wheel-base added 4-inches to the length of the luxury vehicle directly behind the B-pillar with longer rear doors. The long-wheel-base examples were only built from 1969 - 1976, producing just 2780 of them. With the Silver Shadow being the longest running model by the brand ever from 1965-1980, the LWB version accounted for approximately 15% of all Silver Shadow models produced. The engine features dual carburetors & made of aluminum. The transmission was made by General Motors.
