This example has been reportedly under the care of the same family for the last 46 years. In 2020 it was said to have been refinished in its current red.
The TR6 features body-on-frame construction with coachwork designed & built by Karmann of Germany. It is powered by a dual-carbureted 2.5L inline 6-cylinder engine that spins the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. This car sports 4-wheel independent suspension with aluminum semi-trailing arms in the rear as well as rack & pinion steering and front disc brakes.
